Game Review: geoDefense

June 14, 2011 3 Comments

If your a fan of tower defense games then geodefense is a must have game for windows phone users. If your not though, you should still give it a try since geodefense does a great job of making the learning curve practically non-existent. After just a few levels on easy, you will be up and running in no time.

geodefense also does a great job of making sure that you are playing the game properly, which means lots and lots of  upgrading. You will not survive in the long run by just buying more and more weapons. The weapons are all also very unique and well done. They each have their purpose and should be used accordingly.

The visuals are just beautiful. Not ilomilo beautiful but the vectorized graphics really go a long way. The visuals when there’s alot of enemies on screen and all exploding at the same time look fantastic. You can see the streams of energy blasting away and consuming the screen.

The only thing I didn’t like about this game is the start menu. It just doesn’t do this game any justice and its just plain boring. (Yes that is being pretty picky)

This is a must download for any windows phone user and definitely fits the bill as spring must have game.

Game Info:
Something exciting and new in the Tower Defense genre! The geometric vector creeps are fast and intense. With 30 different maps, each its own puzzle, you’ll have to work fast to keep up.

Using exciting vectorized graphics, this highly kinetic game brings a whole new dimension to the tower defense genre. Devastate creeps with blasters, lasers and missiles and watch their energy debris swirl through the gravity wells of your vortex towers. Now it’s time to figure out how to put that absorbed energy to good use…

With the ability to compete for the high score with friends on the leaderboards and exclusive Xbox LIVE achievements, this is a tower defense game like no other!
