Nokia Getting 7740 Update Ready for Lumia 800 – Adds Battery Improvements

Earlier we had announced that Microsoft was in the process of rolling out an update for Mango numbered 7740. It fixes current issues like:

• Fixes an email issue related to Microsoft Exchange Server 20003. With this fix, when you reply to or forward a message, the original message is now included in your response.
• Fixes a voicemail notification issue

But also adds features like Internet sharing on a few generation 1 Windows Phone devices.

Nokia has recently told winrumors that they are working on rolling out the 7740 update for their new crown jewel – the Nokia Lumia 800. Their update will also include improvements in the battery life of the Lumia 800.
