Mango Apps: ImageWind is Back!!!

November 4, 2011 No Comments

Imagewind was removed back in april for adult content. Those of us that had downloaded it before it was taken down still got to enjoy the random images from twitter gliding through our screens. Recently. the images stopped populating and I thought ImageWind was gone and done for.

Today, I noticed that the app was back in the marketplace. Not only was it back but it was Mango powered. The only bad part about it though is that with the recent update, Microsoft demanded that the app runs on safemode which gets images from Flickr instead of Twitter which is a lot less fun.

Download For Windows Phone

App Info:
Imagewind is your window into what is going on around the world via photos posted on Flickr. Since Imagewind is live, you never know what you’ll see, and it will always be something

new – it’s the perfect time killer.

Changes in v1.1:
* Added search ability to find tweets with photos which contain specific words or hashtags
* Added pinch/zoom ability to image detail view
* Various performance tweaks including a 15% reduction in memory usage

Changes in v1.2:
* Re-released to marketplace with ‘Safe Mode’ – which uses Flickr instead of Twitter for images
* Pinch/zoom ability temporarily removed
* Imagewind is back in the marketplace – tell your friends, and leave some nice reviews!

Changes in v1.3:
* Safe mode is now always on per marketplace policy team (Twitter support removed)
* Added back pinch/zoom
* Minor UI changes

Be sure to  check out Imagewind.net for a desktop version of Imagewind, which pulls from Twitter instead!
