HTC Watch Updated Again: Back to Square One (warning)

I was very excited to see the pending update waiting for me for the HTC Watch app.

Let’s remember that when it launched at first it didn’t recognize any devices, so the app wouldn’t work. It was then updated again and it worked for some users. A few days later it was updated again and finally that where we stood with every HTC device having access to the movies available on this app.

Fast forward to this morning after their latest update and what do I get? my “device is unrecognized HTC device”. HTC I guess is back to square on with their ill fated movie rental app and for those of you that use the app currently should not update.
