Mango Disappearing Keyboard Bug Fix?

October 20, 2011 No Comments

Recently, we wrote about how a few Windows Phone users were experiencing some issues while typing. In detail, the keyboard would refuse to open when pressing on a textbox or vanish while typing.

For those of you that have experienced this or are dealing with it right now. You may want to try a quick fix that a Italian developer named Ardit bumped into and shared with the site wmpu.

Just go to Settings>System>Applications>Background tasksand disable whatver background processes you may have running. Then re-enable them one at a time to see which app is causing the issue.

I haven’t seen this issue in action yet but hopefully this resolves your problem until Microsoft steps in and patches it.
