ChevronWP7 Unlock Tool Coming Soon (Few Weeks Away)

October 17, 2011 No Comments

The Chevron Team (Rafael Rivera, Chris Walsh, Long Zheng) have finally announced that their upcoming unlock tool (chevronWP7) for Windows Phone will be coming in just a few short weeks. The application is pretty much an unlock tool that is approved by Microsoft in which you can sideload apps without paying the apphub membership fee. All you need is your Windows Phone and a Live ID for the unlocking process. Also, the process will work with you purchasing ‘tokens’ for $9 that will give you the chance to unlock a device of your choosing.

After registering, users will have the ability to purchase and manage what we’re calling “unlock tokens”. One token equals one unique Windows Phone device registration. (You get unlimited re-registrations of that device should the need arise.) Tokens will cost $9.00 USD and be sold via PayPal. If having a Paypal account makes you cringe though, you can elect to check out with a credit card instead.

You can read more on the ChevronWP7 tool at their blog.
