Concept Art: Notification Center For Windows Phone

October 12, 2011 3 Comments

In the XDA forums, member the0ne has created an elegant looking Notification Center concept for Windows Phone. Clicking on the toast notifications would take you to the application but you can also drag it down for more info.

“The idea is to have one place for all new events and updates, like calls, mail, and messages. And social network updates, like Facebook and Twitter. Also all calendar reminders–alarms, dates, notes, tasks, etc.–appear in the Notification Center.”

It looks really nice and modern – which I like but it might be too busy for Windows Phone. What do you think?

Too busy, but dim it down a bit – lower the size of the icons – Metroize the weather (or imho lose it), add option for long press on Start – move Speech to Search Long Press and… we’re there for me!

Sorry, I dont like it. This completely puts down the current live tiles concept of WP7. Its just doesnt make any sense to have both a notification centre and a Live Tile !
