Nokia Sabre Leaked by Microsoft Canada

Hidden in the rules for a Mango app contest in Canada, Microsoft laid out some of its cards way too early. In explaining what kind of prize the contestants would be receiving, someone went a little bit too far in the explanation and examples of what kind of phones could be given out. The page was taken down yesterday but not before a screenshot was saved.

“The estimated retail value of the phone is $600.00. The type of Windows Phone 7.5 will vary and will be selected at Microsoft’s choosing (examples include Samsung Yukon, Samsung Wembley, NOKIA Searay and NOKIA Sabre)”

Not much is known about the Nokia Sabre or any of the others for that matter except for the Searay. We should be getting more information soon as Mango has been deployed to most of the world and Nokia’s conference in scheduled for next month.

As for the others, they are rumored to be variants of other existing devices but we will definitely keep an eye out for the Samsung Yukon and Wembley.
