Windows Phone Marketplace is Now Live on the Web

September 27, 2011 No Comments

We have rumored to be Mango day and for a carrier or two it seems that it might be. It can be Mango day for another reason though. Microsoft has just made their marketplace LIVE on the web.

You can browse or search every app on the marketplace through their web portal now and check out the details of each and every one of the app + games available.

For right now though, Microsoft may still be working out the kinks. You can try to send yourself the app but you get an error after a short wait. It does however it states it will send instructions on downloading the app through email.

We tried sending a download request to your phone, but we did not receive a
response from your phone. We are sending instructions on how to install the app
to ___________. Make sure to open the email on your phone to install the
app!

Take a look at it yourself at WindowsPhone.com
