WhatsApp Dev’s Promise Many New Features Coming For Windows Phone Version

We were all super excited when WhatsApp finally landed on Windows Phone. I believe however were pretty unimpressed as far as its looks and features were concerned. Fear not though as the WhatsApp developers are promising more features in the next few updates.

Simon Luk from We Love Windows Phone had emailed the WhatsApp publishers for answers on the lack of features and the very basic UI. He note only received one answer back but from 2 different team members. Jan Koum from WhatsApp says that the WhatsApp application that was published was almost a beta in a way. They just wanted to get WhatsApp in our hands first and then will be adding more functionality and fixing bugs in future updates. Jan also noted that “We are committed very strongly to Windows Phone”. Check out the email below:
