Microsoft Shows Off Windows To Go – Running Windows 8 From USB

Now this is just pure genius and I applaud Microsoft for doing such a great ob with this. Microsoft is introducing Windows To Go with Windows 8. You can literally run the whole OS from a USB drive.

The most impressive part though is that when you pull out the USB drive while having docs open and watching a video – the OS just stops on screen. When you place the USB back into the machine the OS just automatically resumes what it was doing without a hiccup. Documents are safe and the video just continues playing.

Windows 8 can’t get here fast enough!
