Zune Pass: Reducing Number of Devices You can Sync To (Europe Only)

September 6, 2011 1 Comment

Bad news for European Zune Pass subscribers.

Microsoft will be reducing the number of devices that you can connect with your Zune Pass. Starting September 13th 2011 European customers will only have the option now to connect to 1 PC and then a combination of Zune, Windows Phone or PC’s for the next three. Here is the email that was sent to Zune Pass subscribers in Europe.

If you are in the US you still can sync to a total of 6 devices (3 PC’s and 3 Windows Phones/Zunes)  – For Now

You can download and sync music from Zune Pass to three computers and three devices (Zune players and/or Zune-enabled phones). Once you’ve put music you’ve downloaded with your Zune Pass on a computer or device, it is associated with your Zune Pass. If you want to change the computers or devices that are associated with your Zune Pass, you can swap out one computer and one device every 30 days.
