Two New Free Xbox Live Games Next Week (August 10th) – Sudoku & Minesweeper
August 4, 2011 No CommentsYes, you read the title correctly. Microsoft will be releasing two new Xbox Live games on Windows Phone on August 10th. Metro UI infused Sudoku and Minesweeper will be available to download next week. To top it off, these games will be completely free and heavily promoted by Bing. It will have the regular 200 Achievement points readily available to earn and there is also power ups which re-fuel after a bit of time. No word yet if it’s something you can purchase more of in the game itself with Microsoft Points.
The games look really good and I really do not mind a Bing bar if it means we can get an Xbox Live title with achievements for free.
I love the way the Sudoku game looks with the Metro UI look and feel. As hapy as I am about the Minesweeper game, I am kind of turned off by it’s grid-less appearance. Hopefully it is an option you can turn off even though for the price tag I am not too sure I will mind.
