Gmail Gets Made Fun of in Microsoft Video (Gmail Man)

July 30, 2011 No Comments

In a video made by Microsoft (even though they are denying it) they blast Gmail and Google Docs with privacy concerns. This hilarious video shows you how Google uses your GMail email to deliver better advertisement. Google has actually ged that Gmail scans content and context of email as part of its ad system. The Video below was made in order to try and get Google Docs users to switch to Office 365.

“On July 20 during the MGX opening sessions, the Softies showed off their “Gmail Man” spoof, meant to spur the troops selling Office 365 against Google Apps, and specifically, Gmail. In the video, Gmail man riffles through mail to find keywords for serving up ads. The message: Google cares more about advertising revenues than privacy.”

Enjoy!

Do you use Gmail? After watching the video, would you reconsider?
