Mango Update: Contact History and Live Notifications

In another video like the one we posted earlier Microsoft’s People Hub Program Manager discusses some of the changes we can expect with the Mango update. In the video the gentleman named Greg gives us a little more information on what we can expect in the Fall.

The video focused on two key points. The first being that your contacts will not only contain the basic information for people such as phone numbers and address but will also include contact history. By simply selecting a contact to view you will see all the information on that contact, including emails, social media updates and texts. A very convenient feature for people that you communicate with often.

The second focus of the video is on the contact tiles that you pin to your homescreen. Anytime the person contacts you  whether it be email, text or messaging the tile will update to notify you.

More useful and convenient additions to Windows Phone. The contact history is something that I am sure many will be glad to have on Windows Phone.
