Microsoft Patents Dual-Screen Phone From the Future (Video & Pics)

Do you guys remember that video we showed off here a while back. It was a promo video of the future being powered by Microsoft. If you need to refresh your memory take a look at the video below. The phone shows up at around the 2:12 mark.

When I first saw the video, not only was I impressed but I was highly doubtful that I would be seeing all this technology in my lifetime. I’ve learned to be realistic since as a child i thought the year 2000 would bring me flying cars and a George Jetson kind of life style. Microsoft though is out to prove me wrong and probably tons of others that watched the video. They have actually patented the phone that was shown off and broke down how it will all work. It shows off a translucent dual screen device that is able to detach from one another with one side being able to change buttons dynamically. Check out the future with the images from the patent below. Do you think this is possible in about 7 years?
