Microsoft has been hard at work implementing the look and feel of Windows Phone 7’s Metro UI into all of its’ websites. Most recent site to receive the Metro UI facelift was MSDN. Now we can add Microsoft’s Download Center to the list.

The purpose of Metro UI is to present a clean and simple look that is easy for the everyday consumer to navigate.

Microsoft is not only committed themselves to Metro UI with their websites and WP7, they also intend to implement it on their new Windows 8. This will provide users with a uniform experience and over time will make it easier to navigate between all things Microsoft.
