E3: New Xbox Experience is Loaded With WP7′s Metro UI

I am really pumped up about Microsoft adding the simplistic but beautiful Metro UI to everything they are creating. So far we have seen a few like:

Now Xbox joins the party! Microsoft revealed the new Xbox experience yesterday at E3. It features a beautiful Metro UI layout. It is very exciting to see them really banking on Metro UI in a move that can only help Windows Phone in the long run. I think people will generally feel a natural progresssion throughout all their products. So Xbox users will feel comfortable right off the bat when picking up a Windows Phone for the first time. Here are a few pics of the new Xbox experience. As an avid Xbox 360 user, I really feel that the Metro UI will help

    i’m loving the look of this, nice and clean! I just hope that the marketplace icon wasn’t just a filler and they release a silverlight app store. Wouldn’t mind another 55million potential customers :)

      The marketplace icon is for the Xbox Live marketplace, highly doubt that they would add the windows phone app store to the xbox systems.
