No New Hardware Shown Off: New Manufacturers Announced

May 24, 2011 2 Comments

I was very dissapointed to see the Mango event end and not see any new hardware shown. I was really looking foward to maybe seeing the HTC Bresson but I would of settle for anything.

Atleast they did mention the new hardware and spoke briefly about having Nokia phones running Windows Phone in their labs. They also mentioned that not only will the big 3 companies involved in making Windows Phones be back. They also brought friends (enemies) Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE. No sign of Dell which is really strange.

Can’t wait to see the actual hardware though.

Didn’t bother me about the new hardware.  I’ll be honest I had a hard time differentiating between the ones in the speed test.  The software upgrades is what got me going.

The hardware specs will be interesting once they announce faster chips and better/more cameras.

I was stoked about the presentation!  Just my 2 cents!

I loved the presentation! It showed off that ‘out the box’ you will already have a full experience and apps are only there to add to that experience.

I was just hoping to see some new hardware. Not a big deal but hopefully we will get to see something soon
