New Official Foursquare App In the Works – 4th And Mayor Crowned King

The official Foursquare app was a welcomed app when it hit our WP7 devices. Soon after though it was rated down to oblivion. So much so that they ended up pulling out the official app from the marketplace. The app was buggy and just plain – no good! Plus there was this little third party application called 4th and Mayor that was everything that the official app was supposed to be and more.

Now news from Foursquare is that they are reworking the official app to bring it back to the marketplace. The cool part is that in place of their app for WP7 on their site they have promoted 4th and Mayor as the app to use for Foursquare.

Well deserved… we personally use 4th & Mayor as well. Download it now on the marketplace…
