Mango Update Branded Windows Phone 7.5

April 24, 2011 2 Comments

The Mango update that is scheduled to be released this Fall will be Windows Phone version 7.5 at least according to one Microsoft website. While that may not be a surprise at all it is interesting to see that our beloved OS will be halfway towards graduating into the next version of itself.

Windows Phone 7 is currently at build 7.1 so there is still lots to accomplish before 7.5 comes to fruition. With the time and effort that Microsoft has put into WP7 I am expecting great things not only from 7.5 but from near future builds of Windows Phone as well.

If Microsoft can get on the same page with carriers and release future updates in a timely manner then customer satisfaction with Windows Phone can help propel sales to new heights.
