Imagewind to be Removed From Marketplace

April 1, 2011 No Comments

Imagewind an app that takes images from Twitter and displays them on your phone is set to be removed from the Marketplace. As you may be able to surmise the application takes pictures from Twitter but has no filters therefore there is no telling what you will see on your imagewind app. Microsoft has been very strict with the apps in the Marketplace and have decided that this one just has to go. Imagewinds app description:

‘Imagewind is your window into what is going on around the world via photos posted on Twitter. Since Imagewind is live, you never know what you’ll see, and it will always be something new. Monitor world events through photos, or see the crazy images people post on Twitter – it’s the perfect time killer.’

It was bound to happen, everyone has their share of apps that have to be taken out for some reason or another. Let’s just be happy that ours is something along the lines of maybe seeing something we shouldn’t have rather then an app filled with viruses and security holes.

I think that Smarty Pants Coding should just take it down and add a few filters and then resubmit.

Get it here before it’s to late
