Microsofts’ Answer to Android Mascot: Windows Foam 7

March 15, 2011 No Comments

Android’s mascot is a very recognizable figure of a robot. It appeals greatly to children and adults find it pretty cute too. Microsoft decided that they too need a representative in toy form. Enter Windows Foam 7.

At the SxSW conference Microsoft in an attempt to help advertise WP7 was giving away these foam figurines and also placing them around the venue. Will Windows Foam 7 gain traction? God I hope not! That thing has got to be THE ugliest figurine ever. It looks as though WP7 mated with Gumby. Kudos to you Microsoft for making the attempt, but that ugly thing needs to go right back to the drawing board.
