Acer Spokesperson Confirms Release Of WP7 Phone

While many still have their doubts about WP7 as a strong competitor in the smartphone market, it looks like more and more phone developers are beginning to see the potential. Acer who had yet to confirm if they would in fact be manufacturing a wp7 device has confirmed through a spokesperson to Pocket-lint that they are set to release a WP7 device in the Fall. While it will continue to be a long process to get people to see WP7 as a fierce smartphone competitor, the truth is that the more Microsoft chips away and makes believers out of people the better phones we will all see. I, for one certainly look forward to seeing what's in store for Windows Phone 7.
