Ability to Sync Zune HD… With a Mac??

Over at abipad, they have discovered a way to sync a Zune HD with a mac without the need of a windows PC. It’s a pretty cool trick but please use it at your own risk since it hasn’t been tested and we don’t know why the ability was blocked to begin with.

Enjoy…

1. 1. Download the Windows Phone 7 Connector
2. 2. Open Windows Phone 7 Connector and then quit it to generate preference files. (Quit in the menubar icon, too)
3. 3. Open the Terminal (if you can’t find it, just type "Terminal" in Spotlight) and copy:

   defaults write com.Microsoft.Windows-Phone-7-Connector Zune Enabled 

4. -bool YES

5. 4. Push [Enter]
6. 5. Open Windows Phone 7 Connector and…
7. 6. Sync
