3 Big games make it to the app marketplace

December 15, 2010 No Comments

Things start to pick up again in the Xbox Live category in the app marketplace. 3 big games have just hit the app store and are available right now.

 Game Chest: Logic Games

Only for $2.99 in the app store, it brings 3 different logic games. Chess, Sudoku and Minesweeper. The reason this game is a big deal though, is because you can play chess with another WP7 owner through Xbox Live. Finally taking advantage of the turn based games feature in the games hub.

Puzzle Quest 2

Namco Bandai Games brings us the sequel to its very successful game Puzzle Quest. Not only does this game have a pretty big following. Its good to have another game in the marketplace that can dish out some serious graphics. Already its getting great reviews from a handful of customers. This game is going for $6.99 and is available right now.

Crackdown 3: Project Sunburst

The 3rd and last game is probably those most anticipated game for this year on WP7. It was shown off all through the summer and into the launch. It is very unique since it is a tower defense game that uses Bing Maps to create your “board’ from your current location. You can even have friends stationed at your base so they gain experience or visit other bases to get some experience of your own. At a $2.99 price point it makes it a very enticing buy.

I look forward to diving into each one of these games in the next couple of days
