Microsoft: Windows 8 to RTM August – Launch Late October

Speaking at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Canada, Tami Reller announced that Windows 8 will RTM in August (hopefully first week). Microsoft also revealed that the OS should be available to everyone in October. This should also mean that we will not be seeing the Microsoft Surface tablet until then as well.
