Xbox, Use Code! Windows Phone App Now Available (Xbox One)

April 25, 2014 No Comments

Tired of manually entering Xbox codes on your Xbox One when you can simply wave a QR code in front of your Kinect? Well now you can copy and paste the 25 character long code on your windows phone and “Xbox, Use Code!” will automatically turn that into a QR Code for your use.

Free to Download

App Description:  you’re provided with download codes for Xbox One, you’re probably tired of entering those 25 digits manually (and you are probably working in the games industry). This app converts the text-based codes into QR codes for use with Kinect’s “Xbox, use code!” voice command. The QR codes are created locally, meaning your precious codes are not uploaded to any web service.

Just copy a text containing a valid code and paste it into the app. The app will extract the code and display the QR image instantly. Please note: I’d love to spare you the pasting, but Windows Phone currently doesn’t allow for apps to read from the clipboard directly
