Microsoft Set to Merge Windows Phone and Windows Store Developer Accounts? Only $19?

November 6, 2013 No Comments

All signs point to Microsoft merging the Windows Phone Store and the Windows Store next year. WPdang however is reporting that Microsoft may be merging developer accounts as well. The site is stating that Microsoft is planning to merge Windows Phone and Windows Store developer accounts into single Microsoft Developer account. Not only that but for access and the ability to develop for both, you will only be charged $19 a year.

I can’t wait to hear more about Microsofts plans as this would be a very smart move to attract games and apps to the platform.
