External Storage on Xbox One Will Not be Supported Day One

September 3, 2013 No Comments

Gamers were thrilled to hear that the Xbox One (unlike the Xbox 360) will allow players to use external hard drives to add more space on their new Xbox One. Now it turns out that external storage will NOT be supported day one on the new Xbox. This was spoken about briefly during a podcast by Major Nelson recently.

Hopefully, this feature will be added at least shortly after launch. Furthermore, it looks like the feature will not be present on Sony’s PS4 at all.
