August 22, 2013 No Comments

Over on Nokia’s blog, they recently featured an app called Gotya. With this app and up to four old (or new) Windows Phones (and symbian devices) you can connect to their service and build yourself your very own ‘ private mobile photo surveillance system’.

After a 60 day (no credit card needed) trial, the service costs $1.99 a month or as low as $12 for the whole year.

  • Control all camera settings and calibration
Monitoring & Alerts

  • Get email alerts whenever a Gotya camera detects motion with a link to the picture in the Gotya cloud

App Info:
Gotya for Windows Phone is your personal and private mobile photo surveillance system.

Gotya turns your Windows Phones into a smart motion detection camera and remote controller so you can capture pictures of moving objects at home or anyplace else and get alerts. Detect and take pictures of trespassers or suspicious people, package deliveries, contractors, pets, stray animals, or anything else that moves.

Use Gotya as a standalone motion detection camera app and capture and store pictures locally on your Windows Phone, sound an alert, and fire the camera’s flash when motion is detected.

Connect the app and cameras to the optional Gotya cloud service for camera remote control including instant snapshots from up to four cameras at once, email alerts , instant picture alerts, and automatic upload of pictures to the Gotya cloud. Camera remote control app is part of the Windows Phone app and is also available on the Web at gotya.mobiapplines.com.

Gotya camera app is also available for Symbian touch devices so you can connect and control Symbian motion detection cameras as well as Windows Phone cameras, perfect for devices you no longer use.

With a one-time app purchase from Windows Phone Store you can install Gotya on five Windows Phones under the same Microsoft ID.

Gotya is ad-free and 100% private. For more info, please visit www.gotyapp.com
