WAV. Extension Finally Fully Supported In Latest Windows Phone 8 GDR2 Update

Previously on the Windows Phone Update saga, GDR2 was rumored to finally fix the missing memory in the “other” storage category.  This weeks episode features the lesser known bug/ missing feature not included with the first release of the Windows Phone 8 OS and that is the ability to playback all types of the common WAV Codec. The WAV format as reported by “WMPoweruser ” is often used for voice mail systems who send voice mail via email attachments. In addition this could also mean better support for voice note between platform  in using popular apps like Viber, WhatsApp, etc.  Check out the chart below as posted by AAWP

The update is imminent and set to come out any week now..Lets just hope the update packs more surprises  that we are unaware of..MBGW
