Nokia Lumia 1020: Four New Video Feature Demos by Nokia

July 25, 2013 No Comments

Check out these four new videos Nokia posted showing off the Lumia 1020 and what it can do. The videos feature things like zoom, low-light, floating lens and more.

Could your smartphone take crystal clear pictures while you’re bouncing on a pogo stick? While competing systems usually just move one lens to counteract handshake, the Optical Image Stabilization in the Nokia Lumia 1020 uses tiny magnetic motors to move all of the optics. Even shaky hands can produce super-sharp images.

Because the Nokia Lumia 1020 has a bigger sensor, it can accommodate more pixels, producing sharper details. Nokia used a Back Side Illuminated sensor (BSI) with a design that significantly reduces the amount of visible noise in your photos, and lets you see details in even the most challenging lighting conditions.

Forget about getting closer to your subject when taking photos; stand back and let the lossless zooming of the Nokia Lumia 1020 do all the work. You can discover details in photos you never thought existed. Check out how you can even find a needle in a haystack with this video.

Nokia worked with optics manufacturer ZEISS to introduce six lenses for the Nokia Lumia 1020, with rivals offering four or five. The additional lens helps to produce sharper images, directing light crisply and cleanly towards the 41MP sensor. See how you can see even the subtlest details.
