Dreamfall Chapters is the long-awaited sequel to acclaimed PC adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey . Red Thread Games the creators of these amazing adventure titles, recently started a Kickstarter in which they successfully funded the upcoming sequel, with hopes to bring the game to mobile platforms(including Windows Phone) in the future. Check out the trailer below:
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is a 3D adventure game for Mac, Linux and Windows PC that takes the player on an epic journey across the twin worlds of Stark and Arcadia; from a futuristic cyberpunk vision of our world, to a realm of powerful magic and dangerous beauty.
With Dreamfall Chapters, we will finally continue the darkly magical story that began in the critically acclaimed and award-winning adventures The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
Independently developed by Red Thread Games, this project brings back the core team behind Dreamfall, including Ragnar Tørnquist, creator of The Longest Journey saga.
PocketGamer.co.uk recently spoke to Red Thread Games, the creators of this awesome franchise for an in-depth interview that details the future plans of the game coming out to PC and then later on to the other mobile platforms. Take a look below:
PG(Pocket Gamer): So, Dreamfall Chapters is heading to mobile platforms. To iOS only, though?
Ragnar Tørnquist (RT): It will definitely be on iOS and Android. The one thing we’re still not 100 percent sure about is whether it’s going to be on Windows Phone, as well. We haven’t settled on ideas and we don’t really know exactly what we’re doing on mobile.
Dag Scheve (DS): We don’t want to do a straight port.
RT: That’s the thing. We don’t want to push a ‘convert’ button in Unity and scale down the assets and have it run on mobile. That is possible, but we want the game to work well.

What I really want you guys to read is the fact that the developers are still “not 100% sure about the Windows Phone platform” Let’s not let it be because the WP users didn’t have a desire for it. Have your voices heard by going HERE and letting the guys at Red Thread Games know that their game will without a doubt be a great addition to out beloved platform when it releases November 2014….mbgw
