Microsoft Getting Ready to Ditch Microsoft Points

May 15, 2013 1 Comment

Looks like Microsoft is finally ready to get rid of their Microsoft points system.

TheVerge is reporting that Microsoft is killing their points system and switching to real cash like in Windows 8. Sources close to Microsoft’s Xbox plans have revealed that the points will be replaced by gift cards. The new gift cards will work everywhere including the Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, and Xbox. We should get more info about the switch next week.
