Bloomberg: Nokia and Verizon to Unveil Lumia 928 in MayApril 23, 2013 No Comments
Now, Bloomberg has noted that the upcoming Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 running Windows Phone 8 will be unveiled next month (May).
The largest U.S. wireless carrier is set to unveil a plan next month to offer Nokia’s Lumia 928, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the deal hasn’t been made public. The phone has a metal body, 4.5-inch touch screen, 8-megapixel camera and wireless charging, said one of the people. It runs on Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)’s Windows software like other Lumias.
Hopefully this unveling will coincide with a launch not too far behind. The Lumia 928 is said to have the following specs.
- 8.7-megapixel PureView camera
- Xenon and LED flash
- 8.4mm thick – 132gm
- 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon processor
- 4.5 OLED display
New questions have surfaced from this new article by Bloomberg however, will the phone be metal or the usual polycarbonate material we have all grown to love? The leaked renders we have seen show off a thin polycarbonate like material but the article clearly states metal. We shall see who’s right or even better, if these are two separate devices.
