Nokia’s Bet On Windows Phone Looks Good Says Forbes

April 14, 2013 1 Comment

Forbes recently took it upon themselves to explore the positive aspects about the future of Nokia as the leading mobile hardware provider for the Windows Phone OS. In the article, they had this to say about the future of Nokia:

”Nokia’s faith in Windows Phone seems to be paying off for now. The company continues to not only dominate the Windows Phone market but also take away market share from rivals such as Samsung and HTC, according to a recently released report.”

Later through out the article they later spell out the reasons why they believe Nokia is headed on the right track:

“The Nokia Lumia ecosystem, the higher-end Lumia 920 upstaged the mid-end Lumia 800 as the most popular Windows Phone globally. As a result, the latest Windows Phone 8′s share of the overall WP market accelerated to 43%, more than doubling from 19% three months back. We believe that the 920′s good showing is a potential sign of improving situation at the supply end as well as increasing demand from China”

Forbes has not been one to show their love and support for the Windows Phone OS and Nokia in the past, but we are starting to think that with a phone as good as the Nokia Lumia 920 you can’t help but to warm up to what Nokia has done and is doing…MBGW
