Windows Phone 8 Nominated For Design Of The YearMarch 31, 2013 No Comments
Windows Phone 8 has been nominated in the sixth annual Design of the Year Awards 2013 at the Design Museum in London. In the video below The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) interviews the museums curator and is informed to why the Windows Phone OS has garnered such a distinguished nomination. Take a look below:
Peter Collard, curator, the Design Museum, says that it’s an exciting digital
platform that offers something new. He adds that the design is bold and that it
has a clear digital language which distinguishes itself from its competitors.
This nomination proves that Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS is not just different but is necessary in terms of design and modernization for the future of the mobile platform landscape. I hope that Windows Phone not only wins the award, but is able to change the perpective of many who are able to use the OS in the near future…MBGWTags: Design, design musem, design of the year, Journal, museum, wall street, Windows Phone 8, wsjAbout, Interviews, News, Phones
