Leaked: Nokia Lumia 928 Launching in April via Verizon (Aluminum, Xenon Flash)

(fan created concept)

We first heard that Verizon is supposedly set to get an aluminum variant of the Lumia 920 codenamed ‘laser’ but might launch as the Lumia 928 back in January. Than again including some other Nokia handsets (on other carriers) just a few weeks ago.

Now, TheVerge is reporting more details about the Lumia 928 (codename Laser). According to their sources, the phone will be launching next month (April 2013) and it is in fact a 920 variant, though it will boast some significant ‘upgrades’. The Lumia 928 will in fact ditch polycarbonate and go for a more sleek aluminum body. That difference will supposedly give it a 10.2mm thickness at its thinnest point with a slightly curved back. It will also include the same 8-megapixel PureView camera but alongside it will be a a xenon and LED flash combination.

Great news for Verizon customers.

What do you guys think?
