Nokia Now Also Adopted By Coca-ColaFebruary 23, 2013 1 Comment
Nokia has officially announced there beautifully engineered Lumia Windows Phones will be now used by sales teams at The Coca-Cola Company in Vietnam and Cambodia. This follows the announcement recently made by The Mall Of America in which they traded in their BlackBerry devices for Lumias.
Chief Information Officer, Javier Polit of The Coca-Cola Company had the following to say about the adoption:
“Our collaboration with Nokia and Microsoft enables us to utilize our sales automation and market execution tools on two very progressive platforms. We will be able to activate our teams with capabilities that enable us to further improve our execution and customer services by obtaining actionable insights. The Nokia Lumia and Microsoft platform fit our enterprise landscape well.”
Nokia North America, enterprise sales manager Stephanie Mosticchio had this to say about the announcement:
“By combining the Windows 8 platform with eye-catching design and innovative technologies, we have created smartphones that ensure Coca-Cola employees can operate flexibly across multiple geographies and time zones and still remain fully productive. Providing seamless synchronization with Windows Phone 8 and Microsoft Office, Nokia Lumia smartphones enable Coca-Cola employees to work as effectively on the go as they would in the workplace.”
Coca-Cola has been known to be a Blackberry company for a long time and it seems that with the new Office 365 service by Microsoft the Windows Phone is thee phone to have because of its great integration. Lets just hope that more companies follow suit and see the error of their ways…MBGW
