January 24, 2013 1 Comment

Nokia has made it official in their fourth quarter 2012 report, the Nokia 808 will be their last Symbian device.

During our transition to Windows Phone through 2012, we continued to ship devices based on Symbian,” the company wrote. “The Nokia 808 PureView, a device which showcases our imaging capabilities and which came to market in mid-2012, was the last Symbian device from Nokia

Tough news to get for the Symbian faithful but great news for Windows Phone fans as Nokia can dedicate even more to the WP ecosystem. This also adds more fuel to the rumored 41MP Pureview Windows Phone.
