Google Now Breaking Windows Phone Users YouTube Playback Fuctionality

January 12, 2013 3 Comments

YouTube is one of the most visited sites for user created media, a site that many just cannot do without. Google has “great power” when it comes to some of its offerings(Gmail, Maps, YouTube) but what they’ve yet to learn is that with “great power” comes an even greater responsibility. Video playback on Windows Phone has again been tampered with by Google causing playback issues.  When Windows Phone 8 handsets are in desktop mode a request comes up that if accepted searches for an app and produces no results.

In “Mobile mode” playback is working just fine, but Windows Phone 7 users are having more issues where both desktop and mobile mode no longer work.

Way to go Google! Quit screwing with Windows Phone Users and play fair!..MBGW
