Catwalk: Nokia Bringing Aluminum High-End Windows Phone 8 Device This Year?

January 3, 2013 8 Comments

The image above might be from a fan created concept but it looks like Nokia might be headed that direction. TheVerge is reporting that someone familiar with Nokia’s plans have revealed to them that Nokia is planning on switching to an aluminum body at least for one high end phone this year. The device might be the direct successor to the Lumia 920 and have similar specs. The big difference will be the fact that it will be thinner and lighter due to the fact that it will be  aluminum and not polycarbonate.

It will be interesting to see if this will also allow Nokia to bump up the specs on their Pureview camera even more.

Can’t wait to see if this becomes a reality or not.
