Bloomberg: HTC Cancelling Large Windows Phones?

December 17, 2012 1 Comment

Bloomberg is reporting that HTC is Cancelling Large (5inch and/or larger) Windows Phone devices. The information has not been made public by the company as of yet. No word also as to why HTC will be dropping large Windows Phones from their future lineup.

Some say that it might be because of the fact that Windows Phone does not support 1080p but that is something that can easily be changed via any future upgrades. Also as Engadget kindly noted, the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II is doing just fine running on 720p.

Hopefully, this isn’t something that is written in stone and we can see a Galaxy Note contender in the Windows Phone world.
