Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Coming To Windows Phone?December 15, 2012 1 Comment
Square Enix, creator of little game titles such as..Final Fantasy(I kid,I kid) recently posted a teaser site for a new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy title. The game has been released on the Nintendo DS where it is widely popular and just this Wednesday was released to iOS. So how does this game relate to Windows Phone? Well it just so happens that a member of NeoGAF forums discovered text in the site’s source code which redirects web browsers to platform-specific versions (iPhone, iPod, Android, Windows Phone) of the site. This led him to believe Square Enix just maybe readying the page to direct mobile browsers to the App Store, Google Play, and Windows Phone Store versions of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. Below is the trailer to the iOS version! Take a look
Theatrhythm takes classic Final Fantasy songs and turns it into a “musical RPG,” You can level up characters as you swipe and tap along to beat song sequence chart that appear on the screen. The base app is free with in-App songs that can be purchased separately.
Details may appear sketchy by most, but keep in mind the post on the site was wrote weeks ahead of the initial debut of the iOS version, so just maybe he maybe on to something. We hope to see this make its way over to Windows Phone soon and Xbox enabled at that! I personally am still in shock that all we have from Square Enix is the first Final Fantasy while several sequels have been made available for every other platform.. Come on Microsoft! Show me what your working with!..MBGWTags: Final Fantasy, mbgw, neogaf, nintendo ds, poket gamer, sqaure enix, theatrhythmApps, Games
