Windows Phone 7.8 Now Available on Navifirm for Some Nokia Devices

December 13, 2012 3 Comments

We are finally making the last rounds before the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade is available worldwide. The update, which a nokia survey stated that it would bring a good amount of features to last gen handsets, is now available on Navifirm.

Navifirm, which is a tool used to check and download Nokia firmware, shows the Windows Phone 7.8 update being available for the Lumia 800 and Lumia 510. It shouldn’t be too long before the 710 and the 900 tag along.

If you are pretty gutsy or just have a spare Windows Phone 7.5 device laying around, you can try and flash the update yourself. However, you should probably wait until we get the official and finished update which should be coming soon enough.
