November 4, 2012 No CommentsWith the BUILD conference now over, MSDN has made available their full collection of seminars online. During the “Windows Phone 8: Native C/C++ Game Development” held October 30 2012, by speakers Sam George and havoks own Ross Odwyer, we get to see havok running on the Windows Phone at pretty decent frames. For those who aren’t aware of havok’s presence in gaming community, their unique engine was used in several top quality consoles titles including “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations”, “The Elder Scrolls® V: Skyrim” and ”Uncharted: Golden Abyss”, just to name a few. At around the 9 minute mark, we begin to see a demo of havok running on our beloved platform along with some of the development process of the gaming engine and possibilities on Windows Phone platform. Check it out below!
