Microsoft Acquires PhoneFactor for Cloud Security

Microsoft has announced that they have gone out and purchased PhoneFactor which is a leader in phone-based multi-factor authentication. Already plans of the company helping Microsoft ‘protect data in SharePoint, on their file servers and with their critical business apps running on-premises.’ Also PhoneFactor can be used to ‘enhance the security of applications running in the cloud’.
