Nokia Has Built a Windows RT Tablet? Used for Testing?

October 3, 2012 1 Comment

The ‘rumor’ of Nokia coming out with their own Windows RT tablet has been around since Windows 8 was first announced. After that, tons of fans chimed in with concept art like the one above showcasing what they thought a Nokia Windows RT tablet should look like.

Back in March, Nokia Design Chief Marko Ahtisaari splilled the beans on a Nokia Windows RT tablet. Recently, Stephen Elop stated in an interview however that Nokia had nothing to announce in terms of a tablet from the company but he didn’t deny it being in the works.

Now, WMPU is reporting that a Nokia tablet running Windows RT does in fact exist and that it is being used by Microsoft to test applications. No word however as to the device will ever see the light of day.
