Xbox 360 Beta Program Reveals Xbox Music Pricing and Features (Zune)

September 26, 2012 1 Comment

Bits an pieces of Microsoft’s Xbox Music strategy has leaked over the internet thanks to the Xbox 360 fall update beta program. The guys over at TheVerge got this screenshot of the Xbox Music app requesting the user to select a Music Pass. The service is to cost  £8.99 per month, £89.90 per year which is in line with how much Zune costs now.

This is in addition to the rumored free ad supported music streaming service with a scan-and-match locker feature that will be coming to Xbox Music. There’s also mention of a “single tier dual subscription streaming service,” which sounds like another plan option that might mean a music and video package.

Stay tuned to more on Xbox Music as it gets closer to launch.
